Munich, Germany, March 8th, 2005 - ibidi GmbH, a supplier of solutions for BioMicroscopy, and Saifan Ltd., Ramat Gan, Israel, started a distribution partnership for Israel. Beside the substantial Asian and North American markets, the ibidi products are now available in the strong growing and research-intensive Israelian market.
"Saifan has an outstanding position and market penetration throughout Israel," says Dr. Ulf Rädler, director of the worldwide sales division at ibidi. "This co-operation represents an important milestone in the marketing and sales of our disposable perfusion cell culture biochips."
ibidi develops and produces plastic cell culture carriers, so-called µ-Slides, for the analysis of cells and biomolecules. Recently, ibidi announced a distribution partnership for the opening up of the North American market with the US Applied Biophysics Inc. and the Canadian Carsen Group. The company plans to further extend the distribution network, negotiations with potential partners in Switzerland and Sweden are ongoing.
